Game Information
OU/OC/AU/CRAU: Slight AU - He is mostly canon in that he got to the point he needed to get to, did his thing he needed to do to stop Urizen, but in the aftermath, as Vergil and Dante trapped themselves in Hell, he somehow ended up separate again. He found and re-claimed the nightmares and his cane and while he tried to figure out why he suddenly had form again, the Circus appeared. And after a little back and forth, he joined up.
Job: Animal Tamer - mostly the big cats and raptors. For some odd reason they seem amiable towards him unlike the other animals who can sense something off about him.
Powers and Skills:
( Here have a vid that lists all of his skillset/summons in game. And srsly not joking about him reading poetry like a goth. )
V is very much human but because he is also human by way of being the human half of a half-demon, he is also made from demon magic and spirit. So he is human. He is normal, but he has the vast knowledge of his full body who has studied a lot of magic and demon lore. He's good with weapons, but, again since he is full human, he cannot use the special tools that his demon-hunting family usually uses. The biggest difference are his nightmares aka his summons. They are three demons bonded to him through ink and pain and terror, and also are manifestations of his inner nightmares:
Griffon: A giant raptor with a tri-beak and lightning patterns on his wings. The more vocal of the three, he often will do or talk against some things V is saying and acts like a foil to some of his more grandiose moments. Griffon will carry V for short distances and can shoot lightning bolts.
Shadow: A large, burly panther with reddish eyes, Shadow looks like a normal cat and acts like one too until she needs to, then she can merge into any surface to become a literal shadow or suddenly turn into a ball of spikes or anything really. V often can get pushed by her in shadow form across surfaces for a short time.
Nightmare: A large humanoid creature that brings to mind the idea of tar and pollution and smog, this creature appears to be the size of a small house. When summoned, V's hair turns white, the only hint of his demonic heritage besides the way he can absorb demon energy. Sometimes he can also have Nightmare form in the size of a small toy big enough to fit on the palm of his hand.
Housing: Randomize PCs! He will need some grip points when he has weak days, like extra railing or something and some space when his 'pets' come out to play.

3. What are three principles your character believes in, whether or not they are true to these principles? humanity is stronger than it looks and is worth saving, even a small drop of common sense is better than all the planning in the world, become stronger.
4. What are some themes you'd like to work through with your character? There is no number limit for this one, write as much or as little as you'd like.
Well I do want him to understand himself a bit more. I mean game-wise V does come to a point of understanding his role and reasoning to get the gang back together so to speak, and later on that colors a certain someone's stuff, but I think V needs to lean more on understanding himself as a person and not just a human shadow of someone who always is not happy about the human part at all. Maybe also get his own found family too.

Inventory:
+ his cane - King's Gambit - looks like a stylized stake made out of an alloy that's not exactly steel or silver but holds those properties. It's stronger than it should be and he can use it as a weapon, especially against demonic entities.
+ his current wardrobe that he got off the body of someone that tried to rob and murder him
+ his poetry book marked with a giant letter V
